He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bun Phillips and Ruby Brown Phillips; his daughter Salley Phillips Bardwell; his grandson Christopher Phillip Bardwell; his sister-in-law Jackie Salley Pennell; and his wife Grace Salley Phillips. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
