She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Immel and Hulda Immel; her daughters, Pamela Mecom Snider and Jane Mecom Winkler; and her siblings, Lucille Morris and Herbert Immel.
She is survived by: her son Trey Mecom; and her grandchildren, Philip Mecom IV, Mindy Mecom Erickson, Michelle Mecom O'Malley, Sean Winkler and Noelle Winkler. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
