We are sad to announce that on May 26, 2024, at the age of 82, Iris Maria Chambless of Shreveport, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Byron Eugene Noble and Frankie Katherine Brown Noble; her husband William A. Chambless, Sr.; and her siblings, Elliot Noble, Byron Noble, Jr. and Frankie Cole.

She is survived by: her sons, William A. Chambless, Jr. (Martha) and Mark Chambless (Kim); her grandchildren, William A. Chambless III and Amy Lovell (Kaiser); and her great grandchild Thomas Lovell (Troy Lovell). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to the charity of their choice.
