It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ida Beth (Shreveport, Louisiana), who passed away on October 9, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Ida find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Hurley Raymer and Vera Ferguson; her sister Lurline; and her husband James Virgil Taylor. She is survived by: her sisters, Iona Myers of Metarie, LA and Viola Gertrude Lanham of Safford, AZ.; her children, David Alan (Gloria), Robert Dean (Sheri) and Roberta Dianne (George); and her close friend Cindy Childs. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
