It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Marie Thompson of Shreveport, Louisiana, who passed away on April 14, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Bennie Patterson; her husband Delwyne Holmes; and her siblings, Rosie Lee Dossman, Benny Patterson, Frank Patterson, Willie Patterson, Leotis Patterson, Jessie Patterson and Olee Patterson.

She is survived by: her close friend Delwyne Wayne Holmes; her mother Rosie Lee Pradia; and her sisters, Ida Mae Johnson and Cynthia Patterson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, many cousins, and close friends.
