He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow White and Faye LeVassuer White; and his wife Evelyn "Sue" Duncan. He is survived by: his children, Wardale "Dale" White (Stacy), Robert White (Beth), Tim White (Tamela), John White (Mary) and Constance "Connie" White; his siblings, Michael K. White (Emma), Gerald White (Patrice), David "Arnie" White and Carla White Thomas; his grandchildren, Monica White, Ellen Chenault (Charlie), Tori Chenault (John), Tiffany White, Juelianne Kiper (Zach), Mary White, Hunter White, Seth Lee, Emily White and Susie Marie White; and his great grandchildren, Aurora, Titan, Ember, John, Evelyn, Scarlett, Paul and Braxton.
His plan, for years, was to donate his body to LSU School of Medicine for study, but in the end it was deemed he was not a candidate for donation.
