He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Noyvice Maddry Ellis and Thomas J. Ellis; and his brother Thomas Ray "Buddy" Ellis. He is survived by: his children, Kelley Ellis Olinde (Michael) and Josh Randall Ellis; his grandchildren, Rhagen "Peckerwood" Olinde, Taylor "Dynamite" Olinde, Michael Olinde, Jr. and Jennifer Olinde; his brother John Paul Ellis; and also, Laurel and Madeline.
