With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Mae Williams of Shreveport, Louisiana, born in Watertown, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 28, 2024 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Dorothy Mae leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Rosina Maranto Williams and Robert R. Williams. She is survived by: her siblings, Robert Lee Williams (Janet Williams), Joe Williams and Mary Jenkins-Thompson (Fredric Thompson); and her friends, Sandy Duke and Pam Crowe. She is also survived by many other relatives including two Aunts, an Uncle, many loving cousins and friends.

A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, October 11th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Most Blessed Catholic (15615 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA 70817).

In lieu of flowers she requests a donation be made in her name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
