With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Atchley Huckabay of Shreveport, Louisiana, born in DeKalb, Texas, who passed away on April 4, 2023 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgie Elsie Allman Atchley and Elbert Atchley; and her siblings, Clendon Atchley, Allman Dan Atchley, Donald Hugh Atchley and Mildred Atchley Babb.
She is survived by: her daughters, Paula Huckabay of Shreveport and Pamela Huckabay Byrd (James Charles Byrd) of Homer; her granddaughter Amy Byrd Johnson (Heath Johnson) of Dallas; and her great grandchildren, Elizabeth Mae Johnson and Lila Claire Johnson of Dallas.
