She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeff Gardner and Garnet Gardner; her siblings, Lenara Thomas, Garnet Franke, Marie Null, Betty Martin and Jeff Gardner; and her husband Jewitt Smith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Harders (Hans), Diane Westcott (Butch) and Jean Weathersby; and her grandchildren, Kim Robertson, Carol Beadles, Christy Yoder, Sheila Vuckovic and Brian Westcott. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to Student Ministry Broadmoor Baptist Church, 4110 Youree Dr., Shreveport, LA 71105.
