He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald C. Simmons and Peggy Carroll Simmons. He is survived by: his wife Linda Garcia Simmons; his daughter Whitney Simmons; his granddaughter Gloria Simmons; his son Ben Simmons (Claire); his grandchildren, Benjamin and Lily Simmons; and his sister Debby Petronis (Joe). He is also survived by numerous nieces and a nephew.
