He was predeceased by: his parents, James Foley of County Clare, Ireland. and Mary Eileen Foley (Flannery) of County Clare, Ireland.; his siblings, James Daniel Foley, Martin Francis Foley and Rosemary Eileen Cagney (Foley); and his brother-in-law Lawrence Cagney.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen Foley (Flood); his sister-in-law Jane Foley of Lombard, IL; and his granddaughters, Shannon Foley of Fahrenzhausen, Megan Foley of Fahrenzhausen and Leah Foley of Fahrenzhausen. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, his family suggests memorials be made to Catholic Charities of North Louisiana or St. Rita of Cascia High School in Chicago.
