He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Hanson and Irene Hanson; and his siblings, Craig, Terry, Dick Hanson, Gloria Miller and Judy Seim.
He is survived by: his wife Scharon Hanson; his daughter Kimberly Parker; his son-in-law Eric Parker; his son Kylan Hanson; his grandchildren, Grant Parker (Bridget) and Kassidy Parker; and his great grandchild Oliver Reed Parker.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, October 9th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Veterans Cemetery (7970 Mike Clark Rd, Keithville, LA 71047).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church.
