It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Joseph Bellew (Shreveport, Louisiana), who passed away on July 7, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Bellew (Dick) and Priscilla Bellew; and his brother Richard W. Bellew, Jr.. He is survived by: his friend Ozark Society; his wife Judy Bellew of Shreveport, LA; his children, David Bellew (Melissa) of Alexander, AR, Mike Bellew of Dallas, TX, Chris Bellew (Jill) of Dallas, TX, Matthew Bellew (Shelby) of Little Rock, AR, Melanie Miles of Irmo, SC., Jodie Mueller-Reynolds (Jeff) and Allen Plummer, III (Aimee); and his caregivers, Dr. Meghan Harris and Pierremont Neurology Clinic. He is also survived by children and grandchildren.
In keeping with his generous nature, David donated his body to science in the hope that he may be of some help in Alzheimer's research.
