He was predeceased by: his mother Eliza Cuthrell; his siblings, William (Ida), Joel (Lena), Lemmie Davenport (Becky) and Levora "Lee" Stillman (John); and his wives, Kim Anh Pham and Alice Ebey Davenport.
He is survived by: his children, David Jr., John Davenport (Lyn) and Jennifer Meshell (Michael); and his grandchildren, Aiden Meshell, Katelyn and Jailyn Davenport. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Rose Neath Funeral Homes - Shreveport Southside (2500 Southside Dr, Shreveport, LA 71118). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at the Forest Park West Cemetery (4400 Meriwether Rd, Shreveport, LA 71109).
