We are sad to announce that on July 9, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Coach Lee Hedges of Shreveport, Louisiana, born in Fifty Six, Arkansas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Nell; his parent Ova; his siblings, Gene and Ruth; and his siblings-in-law, Claude Franklin, Larry Toland, Elizabeth Franklin and Bobbie Toland.

He is survived by: his sons, Russell Hedges and Doug Hedges (Lisa Hedges); his grandchildren, Austin (Rachel), Jared Hedges and Katelyn Roan (Cody); and his great grandchild Hoyt Lee Roan. He is also survived by nine nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family recommends donations be made to the Captain Shreve Alumni Association or to a charity of the donor's choice.
