He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Chester P. Grigsby, Jr., Dorothy and James Sumner; and his uncle Leo Sumner, Sr.. He is survived by: his parents, Jayne Grigsby Sumner and Stephen John Sumner, Sr.; his daughter Greer; his wife Mattie; his brother Stephen John Sumner, Jr.; his cousin Leo Sumner, Jr.; his grandmother Audrey Grigsby; and also, Dawn, Rex Charlet and Kristen Guillot (Ren) of Belle Rose, LA.. He is also survived by extended family members and the many friends.
