She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin R. White and Daisy Loretta Killenger; and her siblings, Lila Dobson and Richard White. She is survived by: her husband Cal Hassell; her siblings, Barbara Steinfield, Margaret Newman and Marvin White (Nancy); her children, Emily (Michael Stermer) and Jeff; her grandchildren, Kasey (Dillon Pourteau), Kobe (Katie Hunter) and Aidan; and her great grandchild Ellie.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home (1815 Marshall St, Shreveport, LA 71101).
