She was predeceased by: her mother Clista Andrews Calhoun; her brother Thomas Allen Calhoun; her friend Rosalind Cook; and her stepmother Hope Ryder Calhoun. She is survived by: her husband William Osler Huckabay Jr.; her daughters, Clista Whitehurst Adkins (Glen), Tracie Whitehurst Woods (Mike) and Mary Evelyn Whitehurst (James Thomas); her stepsons, William Osler Huckaby III and Edgar Anthony Huckabay; her brother Riemer Calhoun Jr.; her sister-in-law Marcia Calhoun; her grandchildren, Katherine Woods Collins (Cliff), Michael Hatfield Woods Jr., Mary Patricia Adkins (Lucas Richter), Erin Woods Morris (Ben), Katie Beth Adkins Ongena (Josh), Margaret Heck Ellis and Robert Douglas Heck; and her family, Dr. Rick Michael, Dr. Trey Baucom, Dr. Stephen White, Linda, Charles Atkins of Frierson, Jerica Howard of Ringgold and Chitquita Lewis (family: Earl Alexander, Golden Gate Nursing). She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and cousins and many, many friends.
