It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carole Barnes of Shreveport, Louisiana, who passed away on December 5, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Bill" Schuermann and Harriet Schuermann; her husband Jack Barnes, Sr.; and her parents-in-law, Walter "Jack" Barnes and Mary Francis Barnes.
She is survived by: her children, Jack Barnes, Jr. (Laura Barnes) and Vicki Barnes; her grandchildren, David Jacobs and Alison North (Jon Bayon North); and her great grandchildren, Cainen Duis, Bayon North and Emilie North.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the American Humane Society in memory of Carole's love for animals.
