We are sad to announce that on February 7, 2025, at the age of 84, Bob Fester Rivers of Shreveport, Louisiana, born in Zwolle, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Bob farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Bob is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Rivers and Della Rivers; his daughter Sheila Malmay; and his stepson Buddy Fulford. He is survived by: his wife Shelbie Rivers; his son Bob Rivers Jr.; and his stepchildren, Mark Fulford, Jesse Fulford, Janet Sinclair and Anne Franklin. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
A memorial service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Aulds Funeral Home (7849 E Kings Hwy, Shreveport, LA 71115).
