It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beverly Jean Lockett of Shreveport, Louisiana, born in Iola, Kansas, who passed away on May 2, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joyce Cora Bull (Gibson) and Clyde Aggers; her stepfather Clarence Herman Bull Sr.; and her son James "Butch" Boyette. She is survived by: her brother Clarence Herman Jr. (Sonny); her husband James Lockett (Jim); her children, Ginger Talley (Carl) and Floyd Lockett; and her siblings, Judy Brown (Mark), Brandy Robinson (Matt), Cris Fletcher, Sue Jackson (Dale), Sonny Bull (Sherri), Leslie Bennett, David Aggers, Hal Aggers (Tina) and John Turner. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Beverly's name to the American Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer's Association.
