He is survived by: his wife Mary Frances Mercer; his sons, Gary Mercer, Ronnie Mercer and Shea Mercer; his sisters, Betty Railey and Ella Mae Pearce; his brother-in-law Harry Solomon; his grandsons, Donnie Mercer, Kevin Mercer and Cade Mercer; his great grandchild Dustin Mercer; and his stepchildren, Ginger James, Jeff James, John James, Justin James and Jack James.
