He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thomas Hood, Sr. and Fannie Quinn Hood; his siblings, Emma Ruth Treadway, John "Jack" Thomas, Jr. and Furniss Quinn Hood; and his son John Michael "Mike" Hood.
He is survived by: his wife Susie; his son Keith Hood (Cindy); his granddaughters, Stephanie Hood Noel (Brady) and Amy Hood Lloyd; and his great grandchildren, Brayden Noel, Caroline Lloyd, Bella Noel and Shelby Lloyd. He is also survived by his family, friends.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Centuries Memorial Funeral Home & Park (8801 Mansfield Rd, Shreveport, LA 71108).
