We bid farewell to Ann Richardson Peters-Calhoun of Shreveport, Louisiana, born in Monroe, Louisiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 21, 2024 at the age of 93. Ann Richardson touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Fulk and Camille E. Richardson; her son John Peter Davis, III; her sister Paula C. Gardner (Gale); the father of her children Dr. John P. Davis, Jr.; her former spouses, Judith York (Richard) and Clayton Peters; and her stepson Clay Calhoun.
She is survived by: her children, Dorothy Elizabeth Allen and Dr. Paul Michael Davis (Janet Davis); her grandchildren, Paul Michael Davis, Jr. (Erin Leigh), Dr. Stephen Orr Davis (Allison), William Joseph Davis, Zachary Camille Davis, Ann Marie Allen Crooker (Matt), Elissa Ann Davis Nava (Mark) and Amy Nava; her great grandchildren, Alivia Ann Nava and Emile Homer Davis; her brothers, Eugene Richardson (Harryette) and Donald Richardson (late Wesley); her former husband Sam Peters; her spouse Fielder Calhoun; her stepchildren, Lawrence Calhoun (Connie) and Helen Turner (Harold); and her grandsons, Michael Davis, Stephen Davis, William Davis, Zachary Davis, Mark Nava and Matt Crooker. She is also survived by her family – cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (204 Patton Ave, Shreveport, LA 71105).
