He is survived by: his wife Terry Gail Haynes Ray; his children, Jay Ray (Tina) of Shongaloo, Marty Ray (Brandi) of Shongaloo and Wendy Ray Wesson (Jayson) of Springhill; his grandchildren, Jaycie Ray, Hunter Ray, Sadie Wesson, Chloe Ray, Jace Wesson, Judd Wesson and Anna "Moose" Ray; and his siblings, Wanda Nipper and Jerry Ray of Shongaloo.
