He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Owen and June Owen; his wife Ladonna Owen; his daughter Peggy Moore; his sister Nancy Hood; and his brother-in-law Jeff Thompson.
He is survived by: his children, Jimmy C. Owen (Tammy) of Wesley, AR. and Melissa Martin (Kevin) of Sarepta, LA; his siblings, Carla Pearson (Doyle) of Ingleside, TX and Joe Owen (Angela) of Taylor, AR; his grandson Hayden Corbell of Lafayette, LA; his brothers-in-law, T. Wayne Hood of Springhill, LA and Joe Thompson (Leslie) of Springhill, LA; his stepgrandchildren, Chase Poe, Coty Poe and Laecy Poe; and his close friend Cathy Baldridge of Springhill, LA.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
