He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Hardaway and Lonie Mae Compton Hardaway; his brother Michael Hardaway; and his granddaughter Caroline Branton. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Cox Hardaway; his children, Reagan Hardaway (Neely), Dena Branton (Ricky) of Shongaloo, LA and Emily Walker (Barry) of Minden, LA; his sister Betty Lewis of Springhill, LA; his grandchildren, Rayla McKissack (Taylor) of Dubberly, LA, Camryn Branton of Shongaloo, Makenzie Branton of Shongaloo, Cassie Hardaway of Shongaloo and Brody Walker of Minden; and his great grandchildren, Easton McKissack and Rowan McKissack.
