It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gayle Barnett Gildon of Shongaloo, Louisiana, who passed away on February 8, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father William Boggs; her son Terry Ray Gildon; and her brother Michael Barnett. She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Darrell Gildon; her daughter Renee Shaver of Shongaloo, LA; and her grandchildren, Michael Shane Taylor, Crystina Gayle Taylor and Stetson Ray Gildon. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
