He is survived by: his children, Steven J. Clause (Caroline) of Scott, Joyce Clause Layton of Erath and Cecile A. Clause of Ramirez; his sister Belver Jane Laviolette (Aldon) of Breaux Bridge; and his grandchildren, Racheal Bergeron, Crystal Hightower, Garrett Clause, David Taylor, Ella Trahan, Robert Layton, Jr., Katie Stevens, Cassie Johnson, Chloe Schoors and Amy Bernard.
