He was predeceased by: his wife Marie Hebert Romero; his grandson Bryan Keith Comeaux; his parents, Adalor Romero and Marguerite Bourque Romero; and his siblings, Adam, Jessie Romero, Thelma Carpenter and Jeanne Meaux.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel (Elaine Romero) of Rayne, William "Bill" Romero, Jr. (Teena) of Duson, Thomas (Debbra Romero) of Judice, Pearl (Carroll Owens) of Rayne, Jean (Steve Comeaux, Sr.) of Rayne, Gloria (Kenneth Soileaux) of Rayne, Tina (John Thibodeaux) of Scott, Tessa (Norris Trahan) of Maurice and Tracy Romero of Scott. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, twenty four great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
