With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Norma Jean Penney of Scott, Louisiana, born in Ashland, Kentucky, who passed away on August 28, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Glen Thomas Penney; her parents, Alva Stambaugh and Georgia Anne McKenzie Stambaugh; and her siblings, Deloris Ann Hensley, Ethel Fay Woods and Alva Raymond Stambaugh.
She is survived by: her children, Raymond Anthony Brandon (Robin) of Huntington, WV, Gregory Scott Penney (Trena) of Ashland, KY and Tina Louise Penney-Prior (Lawrence) of Scott; her siblings, Ocenious Stambaugh, Judith Darlene Hendrickson, Bonnita Jewel Baldwin, Brenda Joy Jarrell, Debra Irene Boyd and Carria Lynn Jarrell; her grandchildren, Emily Jean Prior of Scott, Kyle Randall Sellers (Brittney) of Church Point, Amanda Louise Penney of New Iberia, Chauncie Skye Penney (Matthew Middleton) of Ironton, OH, Tanner Trent Brandon of Huntington, WV, Shane Sheardon Irwin of Athens, OH and Natalie Nicole Cochran (Dan) of Huntington, WV; and her great grandchildren, Reid Randall Sellers, Ruby Jean Noel Sellers, Audrey Middleton, Brady Cochran and Griffin Cochran. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
