He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Mendoza and Helena Lavergne; his wife Virgie Mae Boudreaux Mendoza; and his brother Cleobule Mendoza. He is survived by: his daughters, Dolores Cormier (Wallace) and Denna Faul (Jerry); and his grandchildren, Dwayne Cormier (Daisy), Shelly Davis (Donnie), Dana Shirley (Jessie), Dawn Clark (Michael), Michael Mendoza (Tammy) and April Vincent (Chris). He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.
