He is survived by: his children, Lucas Carl Fontenot (Jennifer Begnaud Fontenot) and Lani Louise Fontenot of Lafayette; his stepson Vance Campbell (Kari Grant Campbell) of Atkins, Arkansas; the mother of his children Marquerite Broussard Fontenot of Scott; his grandchildren, Audrey Fontenot, Mazzy Fontenot and Leighton Wistinghause; his stepgrandchildren, Caedmon and Lydia Campbell; his sisters, Dorothy Hebert (Daniel) of Central, Mary Quebedeaux (Chester) of Central, Elizabeth Fontenot Guedry (John) of Baton Rouge and Kathleen Moreau of Scott; and his friend David J. Brown.
