She was predeceased by: her children, Barbara Carriere LaBrie and Ricky Noah Leger; her grandson Ralph Babineaux, Jr.; the fathers of children, Velior Carriere and Berton Elkins; and her parents, Noah Leger and Sarah Guidry.
She is survived by: her daughters, Earleen Carriere of Scott, Judy Carriere Trahan of Duson and Brenda Carriere Walker (Blake) of Washington; her grandchildren, David Babineaux (Rhonda), Sarah Babineaux, Christopher Reed, Jeramie Beasley (Rachelle), Miranda Reed, Miles Walker and Noah Leger; and her son-in-law Joseph LaBrie of Florida. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and many step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
