She was predeceased by: her husband James Daniel Mire; her parents, Thomas Richard, Sr. and Doris Vasseur; and her siblings, Kermit Richard, Joseph Richard, Raymond Richard, Marie Guilbeaux, Eurella Lavergne and Lorita Richard.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne Doucet (Donna) of Scott, Guy Mire of Scott and Sandra Hebert of Lewisburg; her grandchildren, Emily Vidrine, Danielle Arceneaux Meaux, Heather Arceneaux Ball (Ross), Ashley Duhon (Kern), Jonathan Doucet, Amy Doucet Barbosa (Steven) and Brittany Mire; and her brothers, Lionel Richard of Luling, Linus Richard of Church Point and Thomas Richard, Jr. of Scott. She is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren; four great-great grandchild.
