He was predeceased by: his father Clifton Albarado; his wife Gloria Ann Bourque; his son-in-law Brent Thibodeaux; his brother Larry Albarado (Genevieve "Genny"); his mother Cecile Albarado; his brother-in-law Ronnie Desormeaux; and his nephew Ryan Desormeaux.

He is survived by: his nephew Justin; his daughter Nicole Rene Bourque Thibodeaux of Mire, LA; his stepchildren, Tammy Bourque Daigle (Tommy) and Leonard "James" Bourque, Sr.; his granddaughter Emma Thibodeaux; and his siblings-in-law, Sandra Bourque, Allen Bourque (Carolyn), Larry Bourque, Sidney Bourque Jr. and Randy Bourque. He is also survived by two step-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren.
