He is survived by: his close friend Murmae Duplantis of Scott; his sons, Eddie Verret (Lanie) of Hollywood, FL, Robert Verret (Karyn) of Hollywood, FL and Tucker Verret (Sherrie) of Hollywood, FL; his grandchildren, Katriane Verret, Caden Verret and Reese Verret; and his siblings, Lawrence Verret, Elaine Gibbs (Ernest) of New Iberia, Cynthia Williams (Marshall) of Lafayette and Sandra Miller (Richard) of Arkansas.
Due to the restrictions of the current COVID-19 pandemic limiting gatherings to 10 or fewer family members, a private service will be held for immediate family only.
