He was predeceased by: his wife Ella Louise Murphree Blakeman; his parents, Jessie Arthur Blakeman and Annie Louise Jackson Blakeman; and his siblings, Amoron Blakeman, Wendover Domangue, James Blakeman Sr., Joseph Blakeman, Jessie Blakeman Jr. and Franklin Blakeman.
He is survived by: his children, Vicki Melancon (Kenneth), Toni Himel (Johnny) and Timothy Blakeman Jr. (Kahlie); his grandchildren, Shawn Melancon (Tonya), Beth Bonvillain (Raymond), Heather Peters (Matthew), Loni Simoneaux (Brian), Evan Himel (Desiree), Matthew Melancon (Trinity), Jordan Blakeman and Joshua Blakeman; his great grandchildren, Regan, Gracie, Raymond Jr., Skyler, Emma, Rhea, Byron, Eli, Anna, Bennett, Connor, Evi, Hadleigh and Roan; and his sister Ramona Crochet. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
