She was predeceased by: her husband Hurley Starks, Sr.; her parents, Johnny Ballard, Sr. and Clara Bell Ballard; her grandchild Daelyn Starks; her siblings, Johnny Ballard, Jr., Melvin Ballard Sr. and Altheia Duroncelay; and her brother-in-law Charles Winslow, Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Hurley Starks, Jr. (Nakase) of Schriever, LA, Kentrell Starks of Schriever, LA, Dontrell Starks of Schriever, LA, Latrice Williams (Timothy) of Schriever, LA, LaKeisha Starks of Schriever, LA and Delphie Starks of Thibodaux, LA; her siblings, Earl Ballard, Sr. (Rosa) of Gray, LA, Steve, Merlin Ballard of Schriever, LA and Regina Winslow of Schriever, LA; her godson Bobby Gray; and her close friend Louis Jackson. She is also survived by 22 Grandchildren; 25 Great-Grandchildren.
