She was predeceased by: her husband Andrew "Tiny" Besson, Jr.; her son Kevin Besson; her parents, Fernand Cavalier and Emily Cavalier; and her sister Agnes Circello (Benny).
She is survived by: her children, Keith Besson (Toby), Leslie Saucier (Tony) and Lisa Bourgeois (Gene); her daughter-in-law Frankie Besson; her grandchildren, James Estay, Meghan Rutledge, Mason Rutledge, Kayla Besson Stiglet, Eric Besson, Kevin Besson, Sarah Besson, Michelle Bourgeois and Michael Bourgeois; and her siblings, Jerome Cavalier (Geraldine), Jessie Cavalier (Betty), Pete Cavalier (Charlene), Charles Cavalier (Anita), Gary Cavalier (Sheila) and Lucy Birchfield (Bobby). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
