He was predeceased by: his parents, Altia Joseph Rogers and Celestine Rogers (Naquin); his former wives, Mary Lowery and Patricia Ann Reynolds; his wife Shirley Ann Rogers (Fitch); and his siblings, Raymond Rogers, Byron Rogers, Junius Rogers, Herman Rogers, James Nicholas Rogers, Bertrand Rogers and Elise Broussard (Rogers).
He is survived by: his sister Phyllis Dumesnil (Rogers); and his children, Kurt Paul Rogers, Kimberly Ann Cantrelle (Rogers), Reynold Dewayne Rogers, Chrystal Shane Sliverthorn (Rogers), Quinn James Rogers, Tyann Theresa Sarkisian (Rogers), Reynold Bernard Rogers Jr and Aaron Timothy Rogers. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
