He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Dupre and Genevieve Dupre; and his siblings, Joseph Dupre, Gloria Dupre and Myra Thibodaux.
He is survived by: his wife Margie Faucheux Dupre; his children, Julie Bourgeois, Ann Margaret Liner, Nelson Dupre, Jr., Roger Dupre and Terry Dupre; his children-in-law, Hazel, Lisa, Denise Dupre and Ferdinand "F. J."; and his brother Morris Dupre. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren.
