He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence "Gene" Brodnax and Ethel Smith Brodnax; his sister Phyllis Brodnax Heroy; and his grandson Jayden Carter. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Lamor Brodnax; his sons, Jerry "Donny" Brodnax, Jr. (Stacey), Martin "Marty" Brodnax (Cheryl), Matthew "Matt" Brodnax (Leslie) and Thomas "Tommy" Brodnax; his grandchildren, Alexis, Benjamin, Hayden, Jackson, Pierce, Maxwell Brodnax, Alana Pellegrin, Bayli Stanley and Brennen Starnes; and his siblings, Charles "Ted" Brodnax, Roma Jean Willis, Nancy Marshman and JoEllen Kiser. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made towards St. Jude's Children's Hospital and/or Living Word Church, in Jerry's name and memory.
