He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy Sanders and Martha Rozas; his children, Karen Sanders and Randy Sanders; and his brothers, Willen Sanders and Prat Sanders.

He is survived by: his wife Margaret Sanders; his children, Gary Sanders (Sandy), Alton Sanders (Gisela) and Holly Sanders; his stepchildren, Tana Callahan, Aubrey Lagarde and Terry Lagarde; and his sister Elenora Langley.
