In the sacred silence of farewell, A'Kijun Reid is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that A'Kijun Reid's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his grandmother Carrie Lindsey; and his great-great-grandparents, James Harris, Sr., Joe Williams, Sr. and Beatrice Williams. He is survived by: his mother Terrineka Harris; his sister A'zyla Harris; his grandparents, Terricul Harris and Jonathan Lindsey; his great-grandparents, Diane Harris, Alton Williams, Sr. and Beatrice Williams; and his great-great-grandparent Gloria Harris. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church (2766 LA-311, Schriever, LA 70395). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
