It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Williams of Sarepta, Louisiana, born in Shreveport, Louisiana, who passed away on February 26, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Joe Boyd Williams, Jr.; her daughter Kimela Shayn Williams Kilday; her grandson Alan Fish; her parents, Elmer Caliway and Joy Dees Caliway; and her sisters, Idell Schonfarber and Barbara Haynes.
She is survived by: her sons, Joe Boyd Williams, III and Kyle Williams (Kristina); her granddaughters, Rayla Fish May, Ashley Williams Jones (John) and Jody W. Taylor (Logan); her great grandchildren, Kalee Adams, Brooklyn Fish, John Ryan Jones, Elijah May and Ezra May; her great great grandchildren, Izzy Adams and Dylan Adams; and her close friends, Renee Thompson and Laury Thomas.
