He is survived by: his children, Shane Powell (Patricia) of Austin, TX, Shannon Powell of Hallsville, TX and Krista Shaw (Jeff) of Franklinton, NC; his grandchildren, Anhalica Marie Powell, Micha Wayne Powell, Alison Nicole Powell, Emily Page Powell, Preston Gage Powell, Sonya Sage Powell, Katie Elle Shaw and Ana Claire Shaw; and his siblings, Ricky Powell (Sharon) of Springhill, LA, Douglas Powell of Taylor, AR, Eva Stuckey (Herman) of Vidalla, LA, Patsy Burkett (William) of Taylor, AR, Jimmie Dritchler (Hans) of Burleson, TX, Jeanie Bland (Charles) of Walker Creek, AR and Martha North (Steve) of Princeton, LA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
