He was predeceased by: his parents, James Anderson and Gladys Annie Smith Couch; his son Stanley Couch; his granddaughter Jamie Couch-Simmons; his great grandchildren, Gracie Beth Oglesby and Riley Tyson; his siblings, Ruby Mae Morton, John Wesley Couch and Della Biddle; and his son-in-law Tommy Arnold.
