Gary H. Applegate Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary H. Applegate of Sarepta, Louisiana, who passed away on August 22, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Whit Holliway and Jessie Lee Stephens Applegate; his siblings, Phyllis McCombie and Steve Applegate; his brother-in-law Barry McCombie; and his nephew Marc Jackson.
He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Stacey Armstrong (David), Elizabeth Stephens (Matthew) and Whit Applegate (Lisa); his grandchildren, Shentell, Brittney (Daniel), Brittany (Chae), AJ, Emma, Sam and Ivy Rae; his great grandchildren, Crew and Rogn; his aunt Billie Stephens; his cousin Ronnie Stephens (Betty); and his brother-in-law Kevin Vest.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Lewy Body Dementia Association.
